History
The Mercer County Building and Loan Association was established
in 1888 in Celina, Ohio.
1971: The Mercer County Building
and Loan Association and the Ft. Recovery Building and Loan Association
merged to form the Mercer County Savings and Loan Association.
1983: The Mercer County Savings and
Loan Association changed its name to Mercer Savings Bank. The bank
also acquired an office of Mid-America Federal Savings and Loan
Association. This branch is in Greenville, Ohio which is located
in Darke County.
1987: Mercer Savings Bank acquired
Home Federal Savings and Loan Association located in Coldwater,
Ohio.
1994: The St. Marys bank branch, which
is located in Auglaize County, was established.
1999: Mercer Savings Bank built an
additional office in Celina, Ohio.
