Ohio banks and bank customers have been targeted by a group of California attorneys trolling for potential class action lawsuits against lenders.  Attorneys operating under the name of Consolidated Litigation Group, P.C., or The Law Offices of Christopher J. Van Sorn, contacted bank customers financial institution.  This entity apparently obtained its mailing list from public records.  Without any knowledge of any improper activity, the mass mailer alleged the Ohio banks had committed "improper lender actions", and that consumers should contact the sender to determine if they could benefit from reduced interest rates, principal balance reductions or even foreclosure prevention.
